A new NHS dental practice has opened in Farnborough...

Seeing a NHS dentist will get even easier for residents in the Farnborough and Aldershot area when a new NHS dental practice opened in October. 

The new practice will take on over 9,000 new patients from across Farnborough and Aldershot.

“We are very pleased to have awarded a contract to Rodericks Ltd for a new NHS dental practice in Farnborough. This will extend the number of NHS dental services across the area as part of our planned investment,” said Natalie Jones, lead commissioning manager for Primary Care Dental Services, NHS Hampshire. 

“The service will provide routine and urgent care to patients on a pre-bookable basis between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week, and available on the day routine and urgent care Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm,” Natalie explained. “This model of care has already proved successful in Basingstoke, Fareham and Winchester. In addition, the service will be providing NHS dental care targeted at military families from clinics in Aldershot and will have a particular focus on how they can support the Nepalese population to access NHS dental care.”

This gives children and adults information which will help them to achieve and maintain a good standard of oral health. We are hoping to engage with the local community to provide a service they want, need and will be proud of.”  

Appointments will be available over the next few months so we would urge local people not to rush as there will be plenty of opportunity for them to register and be seen.
